To celebrate the new Betty Le Bonbon skirts, we’re going to hold a competition. Unlike previous giveaways I’ve hosted where all you had to do was follow/reblog, you’ll need to make a touch more effort for this one! Up for grabs will be ONE custom made, full-circle skirt. You’ll work with me to decide on length and fabric options (block colour or polka dots, for example), and of course the waistband size.

I love everything about this dress: the fit, the print, the fact that it goes with my blue, black or yellow petticoats (clearly, I chose yellow today) and it matches my teal City Chic belt perfectly. Also, it was a pretty reasonable price and arrived within a week. Win!

- You can love other fat people. You can make fat and fat ally communities. You can surround yourself with positive forces. You can make fat love. You can fat love yourself.
- You can wear what you want. Crop tops and short shorts. Mumus. Tutus and ties. It is up to you. Don’t let societal pressures like ‘flattering’ dictate your outfits.
- You can be fat. That is good. That is ok. That is a celebration.

I have always been into fashion in terms of putting my own outfits together especially since I am a plus size girl. I'm not big on designers and probably can tell you maybe two, instead I am a bargain shopper who loves places like Ross, Target, Thrift Stores, etc. I also enjoy cheap custom pieces that I find on etsy.com. In my spare time I like to online window shop and thats why I have started this here blog, to post all my findings that I will most likely never own. From time to time I may also post pics or descriptions of outfits I put together and where I got all the pieces. Recently when asked about my style I described it as "I am in love with studs but I have a crush on glitter, I like to mix badass with girly". Badass Floral is now what I call it because everyone knows I love a good floral print which I like to pair with tights and motorcyle boots. -Slimmy
